Evotech oil filler caps are machined from aluminum billet using sophisticated CNC machines. Evotech created these with a hexagonal head in order to help avoid someone stealing your oil cap. In fact it is necessary to have a particular key to open the cap. Holes have been drilled for fixing safety wire which is required during competition. The 6 milled pockets and the 6 holes give Evotech oil caps lightness but without reducing its strength. For the assembling simply use a hexagonal key or better pawl keys.
We would like to point out that compared to others Evotech products, the coloring of oil filler cap could degrades more easily as in contact with heat sources. Therefore the 5-year warranty on this product is not valid.
